Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences
The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences is one college comprised of campuses in Columbus and Wooster, Ohio, and via a statewide network of Extension professionals, that focuses on research and the advancement of careers dedicated to one essential purpose: Sustaining Life.
Virtual Farm Trips have been hosted through a variety of the College’s departments and initiatives, including:
- Department of Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership: Home to more than 300 undergraduate and graduate students preparing to become communicators, educators and leaders in their communities through academics, research extension and outreach.
- Farm Science Review: Hosted at the Molly Caren Agricultural Center near London, Ohio, the Farm Science Review attracts over 100,000 visitors from all over the United States and Canada, who come for three days to peruse 4,000 product lines from 600 commercial exhibitors, and learn the latest in agricultural production. The educational programs feature Ohio State specialists and are second to none in the agricultural exhibition world.
- OSU-CFAES Knowledge Exchange: KX, as it is known, brings together researchers, Extension professionals, decision-makers, and communicators to share, explore, and engage with world-class research from OSU’s College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. KX provides a modern and interactive platform for the university and decision-makers to identify needs in their communities, exchange ideas, and drive meaningful solutions through research.
