Students of all ages can go inside the Belden Brick factory and explore the brick-making process—one of the world’s most important building materials.

On this interactive tour, students will:

  • Follow the process from raw materials to finished bricks
  • Discover careers in materials science
  • See how science and technology create strong, sustainable bricks

Curriculum connections include:

  • Material Science & Chemistry: Chemical reactions in firing
  • Earth Science & Geology: Origins of raw materials
  • Technology: Robotics and automation in manufacturing
  • Mathematics: Geometry and measurements in production

This live event, presented by the Ceramic and Glass Industry Foundation, allows classrooms to interact with Belden Brick experts. A recorded version will also be available for future use.
