The Corporation for Ohio Appalachian Development (COAD) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in Appalachian Ohio. COAD supports communities through programs in energy efficiency, workforce development, early childhood education, and community services, helping families thrive while strengthening local economies.
Discover how COAD is powering career opportunities across Ohio through the Ohio Weatherization Training Center (OWTC). During this virtual field trip, students will meet professionals working in energy efficiency, home weatherization and skilled trades, and learn how these careers make a difference in local communities.
