Join us for an extraordinary virtual journey into California agriculture!
Get ready to go from the fields to the lunch tray! The 2026 Virtual Farm Day invites students, teachers and families to explore the exciting world of agriculture in a fun, interactive way.
This engaging online experience brings the farm directly to the classroom, featuring live Q&A sessions with farmers and food providers to spark curiosity about where our food comes from. Participants will follow the journey of farm-fresh products—from transportation and distribution to school meal preparation—discovering how farmers, food service teams and local communities work together to nourish students every day. With a blend of pre-recorded segments and live hosts, classrooms will explore each step of the journey, from the farm to the truck to the cafeteria.
Our newest edition of the What’s Growin’ On? student newspaper, “Farm to School Adventures,” publishing in mid-February, will serve as a companion guide throughout the Farm Day experience.
California Foundation for Ag in the Classroom
The California Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating youth throughout California about the importance of agriculture in their daily lives. We do this through: Developing materials that are accurate, teacher-tested and scientifically sound to enhance the educational experience of K-12 students. Providing programs, inspiration and training opportunities for educators. Partnering with like-minded organizations to create awareness about the significance of agriculture in our everyday lives. Recognizing teachers and students for their achievements in agricultural literacy. Supporting the pursuit of agricultural careers and continuing education. Our mission is to increase awareness and understanding of agriculture among California's educators and students. Our vision is an appreciation of agriculture by all.
