Visit a Michigan apple orchard with a local grower to learn how apples are grown. Students will hear about the planting of trees, popular apple varieties, and the process of pollination. We are excited to share with students just a small part of the Michigan Apple Industry.
Michigan Apple Committee
The Michigan Apple Committee (MAC) represents 850 family-run Michigan apple farms covering 36,000 acres and 17.6 million apple trees. MAC works to enhance the reputation of Michigan apples and aid the profitability and sustainability of the state's apple industry through marketing, communication, consumer education and research.
